General Comments and Suggestions by Parents and Carers

‘The only thing I would comment on is the lack of homework.  I try and do as much as possible at home but I would prefer instruction to follow so that it matches what is happening at school.  My son has a reading book but no diary so I can’t really communicate how he’s getting on and vice versa.  Not sure if it’s an issue as such, maybe I’m too over the top  🙃

‘Thank you very much.’

‘The management is very understanding and supportive.’

‘My son hits his head once a day and it’s becoming a joke because sometimes I find out hours later after his done it and don’t receive a bump note.  I think the school could be led and managed better.  And the school can communicate better with parents about everything.’

‘Communicate a bit more sending tx at 8.15 is to late as most parents have to leave by 8 for children to be in by half passed and sometimes it’s best to have a conversation with the teacher about ur child not emails.’

‘Teachers are amazing and work hard supporting the children in whatever their needs are but more needs to be done by the school for children with extra needs.  We had no support during the lockdowns on a SEN level but the teachers tried hard to support as much as they could during these times.  The school could also be more supportive when it comes to getting EHCPs in place and parents would benefit from getting support in from outside agencies like Autism West Midlands more often and more regularly.’

‘My child is doing really well at the school and is a lovely school.’

‘On some of these I have agreed, but in some cases I neither agree or disagree with the statement.  I believe that the school has supported well during lockdown periods with blended learning but felt that the school took too long to get the online classes sorted.  I also believe that bullying is tackled within school.’

‘An excellent school.  My both kids are very happy and progressing very well.  Thank you teachers and head teacher for your support at this critical time.  We have minimum loss during covid lockdowns due to your endless efforts and commitments.  Thank you so much.’

‘I feel communication could be better for parents.’

‘Overall I think the school has done a good job with complaints and assistance in all areas.’

‘Please tell them how to improve their good ethics and behaviour with elders like teachers and parents.’
