The Year 4 team
Dear all members of 3V and 3B,
Boys and girls don't be scared
from the stories you may have heard.
We are just writing because we wanted to say,
we're thinking of you all each day.
I know you're all looked after in your homes,
just remember you're not alone.
Please use this time carefully
have fun and learn creatively.
Don't read now because you'll have a test,
instead let books take you on a quest.
Use the time for a new skill,
let new learning be a thrill.
Don't idle the hours with wasteful things.
Enjoy the fun new learning brings.
And hopefully it won't be long,
until we're back where we belong!
From Miss Venner, Mrs Baggley and Mrs Moore xxxx
Welcome to the wonderful world of KS2, Year 3! Mrs Baggley and Mrs Best are the class teachers of 3B and Miss Venner is the class teacher of 3V.
Mrs Moore is there to support both Year 3 classes.
In Year 3, we continue to teach children how to become responsible and independent members of The Oaks Primary School, learning new skills along the way.
Of course it is important that we have LOTS of fun as we learn, and we have some exciting topics to help us do so, as well as a range of engaging subjects to broaden our knowledge.
Throughout Year 3, we aim to collaboratively learn, share and explore the world around us. We continue to build friendships, make good choices and show KS2 how truly amazing we are!
And remember… Nothing is impossible; the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!
Our P.E. days this year are on a Monday and a Wednesday.
Please ensure that your child has their named P.E. kit in school at all times.
Year 3 are holding a ‘Welcome Meeting’ on Wednesday 25thSeptember 2019 from 9.00 until 9.30am.
Please come along to find out about what will be happening in Year 3 this year.
We look forwarded to seeing you then.
Mrs Baggley, Miss Venner, Mrs Best and Mrs Moore
