Hello Year 3!
A few updates for the Summer Term...
We would like you to continue working on the statutory spellings throughout the term. These are sent home every Friday as part of your homework.
Next weeks spellings are: consider, continue, describe and decide.
We would like you to complete reading at home using the Collins Ebooks App. If you are having any problems accessing this, then please do let us know.
The blended learning will continue to be uploaded each week incase of a bubble closure. Please see the blended learning page for this. If you have any problems, you can always email us using the year group email.
PE days are still on Thursday and Fridays. On Thursdays the children are having Rugby and Healthy Eating sessions with coaches from Wasps. They will need their PE kits on both of these days.
Next week, the children will be taking part in a variety of music projects as part of BCMG called 'The Singing Tree''. We are really excited to start this project with the children and our composer Natalie, we are hoping all children are going to be getting creative and composing some of their own work!
As it is much warmer now, please ensure that your child/ren have water bottles in school as well as sun hats and sun cream applied before the school day.
The children in Year 3 have been chosen to trial how we use our school values. The children each have an individual chart and they are trying really hard to ensure that they thinking about and applying our school values throughout the day.
They are doing exceptionally well at remembering all of these values and how they can show them!
They are: friendship, community, teamwork, determination, honesty, ambition, learning and creativity.
We are really proud of all children in Year 3 and their determination.
Keep up the fantastic work Year 3!
