Homework Expectations

Homework is sent home every Friday, as well as being uploaded to this page.  Homework includes Handwriting, Spellings and Maths.  Spellings will be tested in school the following Friday.  Maths homework links to current class learning or the KIRF's (Key Instant Recall Facts)  for the current half term.  Handwriting sheets are also sent home as part of the weekly homework to practise letter joins.  Children who return their homework by the following Wednesday can be awarded a Learning Value.  In addition, Reading should take place on a daily basis and the planner signed to show this.
